STYLE 6944 COATED UNDERWIRES

Style UW6944 coated, sprung-steel underwires offer a shallow but wide-profile suitable for balconette and demi-cup designs. This style features a low-profile fit for application in bras and swimwear. Proportion is consistent across sizes with predictable grading for streamlined production.

These wires provide broad base coverage without excess projection—ideal for minimalist styles where a natural appearance is prioritised.

Best for:

·       Balconette

·       Demi

·       Bralette

·       Halter

All Formline wires feature a unique nylon coating for the protection of wire casing and seams from wear and tear. Additional coating at each end of the wire provides a high level of comfort and minimises wire 'push-through'. To ensure high quality results we recommend Formline plush wire casing which is suitable for next-to-skin application.

Manufactured to a high standard; all wire sets are individually checked for quality, consistency and integrity.

See size guide for dimensions. For sampling, or prior to production, we recommend the purchase of a pair to test with garments and patterns.
